Which is better? SLi 6600Gt or SLi 6800?

6800 SLI. More memory bandwidth and more pixel pipelines. However this costs more than the 6600 SLI.

WHat about performance? I am using Dual 6600GT Sli now....have a option to switch to single 6800NU now...just wonder if I should get the 6800 now and add the 2nd one to Sli later....but the 6800 is not GT...that is what holdiong me back to think about what should I do now.!

I would just wait for a next-gen card to upgrade. Unless you have a lot of extra cach on you. The dual 6600gt will be fine for some time still.

any way you cut it, 6800SLI is faster than 6600Gt SLI, but i'd take his advice and wait for next gen.

Thank you!

You'll know the answer to this in terms of benchmarking by sometime this weekend, time permitting.

I have a 6800NU SLI set arriving Thursday, and I already have a 6600GT SLI set. I'll post comparison benchmarks A.S.A.P..

From the FS review, it looks to me like: a. OCd 6800NUs get a HUGE boost b. 6800NU SLI gives you a more solid 12X10 4X8X, and the possibility to do 16X12 4X8X.
