Which is better: Single 6800GT or dual 6600GT's w/SLI?

I'm going to be building a new machine here fairly soon, so I'm looking over video card options. I was curious about which is better, a single 6800GT or dual 6600GT's using the new SLI connection, since it's about the same price either way.

I saw the benchs somewhere, the single 6800GT won every time I think. Plus it's one card, les heat and noise. You can always go SLI 6800GT in the future too.

Single 6800GT (AT review). Don't foget you have to factor in the added cost of the SLI motherboard -- rumored prices for them are about $200, and they may not be widely available until January.

Doh - I must've missed the AT review. That helps a bunch. Thanks.
