Which is better - Self Serve Car Wash or Gas Station Automatic Wash?

All I'll say about the auto, powerwash-types is, beware if you have an older car, convertible or sunroof. These washes are so powerful now that they can and will make a car leak water.

I recommend not to take any car with a sunroof or convertible through one, unless you don't mind some water.
 
Also be careful with the pressure washer style self-wash places, I blasted the front of my hood to take off some bird shit and took off a bunch of little touch-up paint circles I didn't even know were there. 🙁
 
gas station touchless style > gas station old school wheel brush style > self serve ALWAYS

All of them will fuck up your car to some extent.
