Just wondering which movie you folks thought was better if you have seen both. I think they are both great movies. I am a big fan of space movies and I think I prefer Mission to Mars, but Red Planet is great too. I don't think either of these movie's deserved the bad rap they got at the box office. Opinions?

Mission to Mars was awful. Terrible music, no suspense, and an incredibly stupid alien at the end make a bad movie.

The first half of Mission to Mars was alright, the second half absolutely sucked.

How about we throw in "Ghosts of Mars".

Mission to Mars, I haven't seen it (that I recall), but the IMDB description sounds pretty good.

Red Planet, another sucky film to add to Val Kilmer's List

Ghosts of Mars, wasn't bad. My wife really likes it.

I've voted for this to be the absolute WORST movie I have ever seen in my 25 years of living. I still stand by this opinion.
