The first is 1.5V and the second is 1.35V. The board I will be getting supports 1.5V. I heard the lower the voltage the better and seen as how there are more reviews on Newegg for the 1.35V RAM I'm guessing that is the better stuff. I will be overclocking.
I just want to add I will be buying three more sticks in time for a total of 32 GB for a RAM drive that I can install FS2004 into. It's my largest game at 26 GB in size. So with that I want good performing RAM for a RAM drive. I chose the lowest CAS size that I could afford which is 8. I don't recall a CAS size of 7 with 8 GB sticks on Newegg.
