need a pci card for my c dock and was wondering which is better. I haven't bought a video card in over 5 years so I'm clueless but I think these 2 are the best pci cards with dual heads in my budget. thanks

Gefroce 4 MX440 because of the larger RAM which will help tremendously in today's games compared to 32mb and because even a Gefroce4MX440 is still by FAR faster than a Radeon 7000, and notice too that the Radeon 7000 is a Direct X 7.0 compliant card, it will still running DX8 and DX9 games but not as fast.

The MX-440 by far... though look for the VisionTek 9100 PCI runs circles around the MX-440. ;)

 Gfx card RAM is very important in PCI format, 64MB is a bare minimum. These cards are too slow to run DX8 stuff so Rad7500 or GF4MX are all you need and should be lower priced than Rad9000 type jobs. Of the 2 you choose the GF4MX wins hands down in pretty much ALL depts, although do be sure it doesn't use SDR (it shouldn't). Here's some info but note that a GF4MX440 is a little faster than GF2TI which is a good deal faster than GF2MX400, the GF4MX also improve image quality, DVD playback and to a lesser extent TVout, dual display and AA.

;) These are all AGP cards so expect to lose roughly 20% perf going to PCI.
