Which one is better PowerDVD (XP 4, lastest) vs WinDVD (3.0 lastest) in terms of what you can find on a regular DVD player?

Eg on PowerDVD 2.5 there is no fast forward or rewind button on a tab that allow you to skip (no to accurate) whereas on WinDVD 2.3 (2000) it has both. (a feature i use lots of time)

The question is which one more feature for the $$$.

Which one is your preference based on your experience. also can you stated the verison you used.

PowerDVD 4.0 is now the most feature rich software DVD player - it now supports DTS, Dolby ProLogic II, SRS Surround, etc. The controls are much better than previous versions too. Go to www.cyberlink.com.tw/english/ for a complete list of features.

WinDVD is better than PowerDVD in terms of quality of the pictures.. (believe me.. i ran both and compared)...
PowerDVD is tons of features.. (which we dun use).... WinDVD with DTS gives the same sound quality (if not better) as the PowerDVD

n i am talking about WinDVD 3.0 dts and PowerDVD 4.0

I have PowerDVD on my desktop and WinDVD on my laptop. To be honest I can't tell a image quality difference between them. It is DVD man, how fine do you want to picture to be?

But I do prefere PowerDVD maybe simply because the look of the panel. With some custom skins it looks soo cool. WinDVD's panel looks crowded and shabby.

I got PowerDVD 4.0 last night after seeing this thread and it's da shiznatch!!! I've always liked it more because there are keyboard shortcuts for everything (though I wish they were more logically laid out). The new version has 4 color correction presets and the Dolby Headphones feature totally smokes WinDVD's, which sounds like an empty tin can.
