Get the msi 64 pro from New egg. People have been saying that it has 5ns ram and oc's to ultra specs.
I can say that the gf3 freaking ROCKS! Just got it today. Still working on the tweaks...

Does look nice but that's $152. I'm looking to spend a MAX or $132, cause I'm really waiting for the GeForce3 Ultra verison. I'm selling my Radeon very soon and will need something to replace it with.

The only justification of a gf3 ultra would be vivo(which I dont think they will have) or improved image quality(up to radeon standards). Otherwise this card doesnt hold back on anything. Quake3 1600x1200 fully maxed is smooth as butter. ITs insane! I would save your money and wait for radeon2 instead of the gf3 ultra.

Well yeah which ever is better that the time. Selling the Radeon for about $100 so I don't feel like losing $50 for a something that is only 20-30% better, cause I play 2d mostly (AOK:)) and stuff.

The Radeon for me is not fast enough. I also play UT, CS, Eracer, etc. Also I see no difference between my GTS and Radeon anyway in 2d, in 3d sure, but not 2d for some reason.:D

The GTS is about $115 shipped. That's why I was thinking going with the Pro, just $15 more bucks, isn't that much.

BTW CKY, I see you also go to sharkyforums!:) LOL, see my post there in videocards also? heh

Hey just noticed something funny.

200/366 Mhz that's the specs for the PRO
200/333 Mhz is for the GTS 32mb

I also have 5.5ns ram and I can o/c to 351, hmm than there isn't much difference from the GTS 32m? Or is there something else as well?

Dang having double thoughts now.

The Pro you listed is not a real Pro, it's an enhanced GTS. Real Pros have 5 ns 200 MHz RAM but this one has 5.5 ns, 183 MHz RAM.

The enhanced GTS will still be 10% faster than a regular GTS. For $2 it's still well worth it.

Hmm wow interesting. But the GTS I'm talking about has 64MB's of ram not 32, I'm trying to see if this makes much of an inpack and which would be a better buy.

Um I have a question, new to this forum here and all, what is the block?

Also what type of card and all, and how much can you sell her for? If a GTS 64mb, how about $120 or so?

If it were up to me I would buy the 32mb 5.5ns card over the 64mb 6ns card. The extra bandwith will do your card good.

I would rather have the quality over quantity ...

200/333 Mhz is for the GTS 32mb

Like others have mentioned 200/366 is not a "True Pro"

A true pro will have 200/400(such as the MSI Pro)

That's nice and all, but how does that do anything for me?

with the 200/400 pro it's faster = more fps

Also most true Pro's will overclock to Ultra speeds.
My MSI Pro will hit 245/455.

So the True Pro(200/400) should be noticeably faster than a GTS

a "Enhanced Pro" (200/366) will be marginally faster than a GTS

Remember when choosing a GTS Pro alway find out the core/mem speed ,some manufactures are using different speed ram but calling them "Pro"

Like I said before, I would still get the 32 MB "enhanced" GTS. The main problem with video cards today is a lack of memory bandwidth, not a lack of VRAM.
