Which is better for tubing, copper or aluminum?

Should I use copper or aluminum tubing for a water-cooled CPU?

Does it matter? Is one metal better than the other at thermal dissipation?

Thanks-

Don't most people use plastic tubing? I think that'll be A LOT easier considering its flexible. I haven't seen anyone use metal tubing yet.

Copper is your best option, as it is less brittle, a bit more corrosion resistant, and easier to solder (if you need to) than aluminum.

I have seen a few hardlined water cooling systems, makes for a clean install, but you do lose flexibility.

Whatever you do, don't mix metals. If you're using copper waterblocks, use copper tubing. Mixing = corrosion.

Connect all your components with silicone tubing. Use the same metal for all components (all copper or all aluminum).

Use silicone. Why? Heat dissipation is good, but let it dissipate OUTSIDE of the case, not inside where you are trying ot keep cool.
