Which is better... DOOM I or DOOM II???

just use the cheat codes to get to levels 31 and 32. they were Wolf3d levels.

The enterance to the first was on level 17. The second was off of the seceret level to the left behind a skull face door thingy that opened after you blew up Keen.

I was more excited about Half Life 2 than Doom3, now I am more excitied about Doom3.

For anyone who wants to really breathe some life back into Doom1/2 get jDoom + the new textures and 3D models. It's the same game but it stands the test of time with a graphic pick up.

indeed, level designs in Doom II is where it really shines. Doom I was a teaser with generic space dungeon levels but II had this whole open field of choas and 223894792 monters on the screen at once.
