Which is better? CMOS or CCD Image Sensor?

Gonna buy a logitech webcam for my Thinkpad, I need to know which one is better.

Hmmm, are you sure? Not doubting your opinion, just being curious cause that's what I had in mind as well but even though both webcams have same specs, the one with the CCD sensor is almost double the price. Any ideas? Thanks.

Technology wise, CMOS is currently better than CCD; but that's from an article I read about high-end cameras

As to which webcam to buy, go for one w/ a CCD chip as they are more sensitive

CCD - Great color lots of noise

Hmm, thanks Zim, I guess that's why the notebook pro webcam is more expensive
