Which Is Better? CAS2 PC100 or CAS3 PC133

Here Is The Question. Which Is Better? CAS2 PC100 or CAS3 PC133. I Have A Pair Of Quality PC100 CAS2 128MB DIMMs, And I'm Wondering Is I Clocked Them Up To PC133 And Down To CAS3 Would I Get Better Performance.

I saw a review where they showed the difference and 133mhz cas 3 was far better then 100mhz cas 2. I think it was firingsquad.

The Higher Bandwidth of the 133 is definitely better.

I wonder how many times people will ask this question here before using the search feature... & besides, the 'cheaper' PC-100 case 2 would probably run @ the same speed as the 'more expensive' PC-133 case 3...

Try running your PC100 at 133 2-2-2. Mine runs perfectly. However I upped my FSB so Im really running 148 3-2-2.

Need to run cas3 mem at 112 to same bandwidth as cas2 at 100.

Need to run cas3 mem at 154 to get same bandwidth as cas2 at 133.

I run cas2 at 133 (2x128 Mushkin rev 1.5)
