Which is better between this two Sony DVD Dual Format?

I am looking to purchase the new sony dvd burner but can't decide between this two DRU500AX and DRU510U. I just want it to know that which is better and what is different between them. I was told by someone that DRU510U is faster and don't have many software as DRU500AX. Is it true? I would appriciate anyone's comments or any inputs.
 
the 510u is the exact same hardware as the 500ax. Just the ax comes default as 2.4x +rw speed, while the 510 default is 4x for all 4 speeds.
 
That's not correct. For one, the U would be an external drive. A DRU-510A is the internal. Second, the difference between the 510 models and 500 is the 510 supports 4x +RW. It is not 4x for all media, as the -RW is still at 2.4x.
