Which is better? Apple Music or Spotify?

I've been using Amazon Prime Music for about a month. I like it a lot but there are some songs that I tried to stream that they don't have. I read that Apple Music and Spotify has way more songs than Amazon Prime Music so I'm gonna check at least one of them out. Apple Music and Spotify both say that they have 40+ million songs available compared to I think a few million songs available with Amazon Prime Music so I'm guessing Apple Music and Spotify will have anything that I will ever want to listen to.

Anyone here with knowledge or experience of music streaming services have any recommendations.
Also are there any features or services that are better or recommended on one service as opposed to the other(s)?

Also Google Play Music any good?

I'll probably be buying the family package of any service I buy to share with family members.

I've used/use Spotify, Google Play Music, and Groove. Spotify is the best overall. It has the best cross-platform support and interface, and their Discover Weekly feature is great. I haven't used Apple Music (though I did try Beats before the aquisition) so I can't say whether it's better than the others at this point.

I've used Spotify on various PCs (Windows, Linux), smartphones and tablets (Windows Phone, Android, and iOS) without any major issues for a few years now, and since their collection is the largest (or among the largest) it's an easy recommendation from me. It's possible Apple treats other platforms equal to its own for the sake of Apple Music, but I'm skeptical as ecosystem lock-in always seems to be a priority for Apple.
