I just got an 20 inch 2 gHz Core Duo Apple iMac and think it could already benefit from additional memory.
I read somewhere that this computer uses dual channel memory, so I am wondering whether an additional matching 512 MB stick or an additional unsymmetrical 1 GB memory stick would be better.
Most intense tasks would be photo and video editing using iLife 06 applications.
Also, who makes the OEM memory stick? And is Crucial or Kingston the best option for aftermarket memory?
