No idea, haven't tried all 3.
But I am sure people who haven't tried all 3 will still proclaim a winner.

Also, it's hard to tell at the start of 2 of the consoles lives.

They all have their high points. I personally like the PS3, but it just cost too much. The Wii is is pretty good, but no matter how you cut it, the graphics issue can be botherosme at times. The 360.....I am not a fan of it, really.

At this point, the best option for most people would have to be the 360: largest library of games between the 3 (not counting backwards-compatibility with previous generation games), proven online service, reasonable price and high availability.

So, you're wanting to compare 3 consoles. One that is unreleased, one released to a handfull of people, and one that has been out for a year.

Right now, the XBOX360 has the most stuff. I bet the PS3 will by far have the largest number of games, and quality games at that. The Wii will be incredibly fun, but with a much smaller library, but a higher percetage of AAA games.

Of course, if last gen is any indication, expect the 360 to only last another year or so before microsoft gives up on it and moves to the 720.

Right now, it'd be hard to not say the 360. Although I haven't tried either the Wii or PS3 (yet :p) the 360 has amazing online in XBL, it has the best library of games by far (Gears of War, Oblivion, CoD3, CoD2, Ghost Recon: AW, and plenty to look forward to next year: Fable 2, Halo 3, Forza 2, Mass Effect). PS3 (at launch) has Resistance, which seems good although not spectacular, and CoD3... according to reviews, the PS3 version of CoD3 has framerate problems and reduced online functions. Besides that, PS3 has MGS4, which looks amazing, and a probable Killzone 2, which should be a hit if it is real.

The Wii has Legend of Zelda, but besides that, I don't see any MUST HAVES for the Wii yet. Red Steel looked like it would be good, but apparently it's a disaster.

this i doubtful developers have to make cross console games to even see a profit, and 360 has the most systems out there, so they HAVE to make games for 360 to make a profit, lets see make a game with a fan base of 200k or 4 million. thats 20x chance of the game being bought.

360 developer friendly, SUPER easy to code for
PS3 harder then hell to program

you really cant compare to previous GEN
just look at when N64 came out and the PS

SNES had a huge fan base and the PS won.

and of course XBL > then any online service ever. hands down. and no one can argue that.

I haven't tried any of the three but the winner is: Intellivision (with IntelliVoice module)

For right now, like everyone else said, the 360.

IN the future, who knows. I think that the PS3 won't match the Xbox Live online system.

huh???

The Xbox lasted just as long as the Gamecube did. The PS2 only lasted 1 year longer.
