Which is a good RSS Reader?

I was just surfing around when I came across this software that says it allows me to read news from different websites.

Sounds like just what I want.

Has anyone had any experience with such software? And why does it say I need .NET to operate it (I have no idea what that means either)

You'll need the .NET framework because the program was likely coded with Visual Studio .NET.

So, if I find a program that doesn't use .NET, then I'm ok right? 🙂

Hmm. Looks like many of these actually require paid subscriptions...

can u run php? There are a few good ones out there that work pretty damn well. I have one riping several rss feeds 😀. Well I ended up changing the code a bit

I don't even know what you guys mean anymore....

Guess this is technology beyond my simple comprehension. 🙂

News Monster is free, though supported by ads.

Aggeg8 is completely free, albeit a little less advanced.

Both only work with Mozilla-based browsers (including Firefox).

Edit: Neither require .NET (since they run off of XUL instead).
