Which is a better laptop?

A Dell Latitude C600 or a IBM Thinkpad T. Price is somewhat influencial but something rugged enough for travelling is good.

I find it hard to believe that there are features on a Dell C600 that you can't find on an IBM T series. But, you probably meant to say D600.

Also, lots of people miss the 'view all models' link when looking at IBM's selection.

The IBM would be a better choice, what features are you looking for?

Wow, 36Db on the Thinkpad. Is it that loud all the time or just when the fan is on?

Errr...i have my T41 in front of me right now and I can barely hear it. The fan is only on once and a while.
