Which is a better choice?

Between these two which will be a better choice to buy:

1. Cooler Master Hyper 212 Super CPU Cooler

2. ASUS Silent Knight AL CPU Cooler

Both fall in the same price bracket where I live so wanted some advice before buying either one.

TIA

Thanks for the info, will look into the Sunbeam products. The ASUS SK looks pretty fancy but I guess the CM Hyper does a better job.

Why are you even thinking about those two, when Sunbeam core contact freezer or Xigmatek S1283 are at the same price? This is what it means to be uninformed. If you would have took any review out there, you would have seen the Sunbeam and Xigmatek coolers doing a very good job, while those other two you have listed, are just mediocre at the most.

I apologize then. It looks that I'm the one uninformed. I would still get a xigy or a Sunbeam instead of the Hyper cooler anytime though. 😉

I believe the Coolermaster would be more effective, but its a tad louder than a stock Intel HSF. I would also consider the Xigmatek HDT S1283. I have one and its very effective and quiet and was reasonably priced. Its always that "y.m.m.v." type thing though. I've tried coolers reviews swear by and they weren't better than the stock one in my system. Kind of a trial and error affair.

Thanks for letting me know about the Xigmatek HDT S1283. Now, I just need to find out if it's available in India.

OP, also check out Scythe Mugen 2 if you can find it for similar price. It should perform very well and quietly.
