Which is a better chip, the XP 1700+ 1.5v or the 1800+ 1.6v?

They're both available at newegg for about the same price and although I don't plan to overclock in the boards I have selected, some day I may remove them and use them in another board and oc.
 
I just got a duron 1.6 (1600) and it's running at 2000 (166 fsb) and might go much higher with a better motherboard. It is a Fry's special with ecs kt333 board. It beats my p4 2.4b in some benchmarks. Not bad for $39.95.
 
If you might overclock someday, then get the 1700+. In either case, you're not going to notice a difference between the two so just get the 1700+.
