Which is a better card if $$ was not in issue?

The 7800gt is better, unless you can get an ultra for around $200. But since you said price wasnt an issue, then the 7800 is better either way.

And yes, I am joking. The 7800GT will trounce the 6800Ultra and use less wattage. Not too shabby for the bucks.
