Which iPod would you buy or thinks is the best

Hey I was considering getting an iPod and all of a sudden I recently saw that they released some new ipods. Which include the Mini 6 Gb and the new 30 gb ipod photo. I understand that people hate iPods and what not. I've looked at others but decide I like the interface of the iPod better. So can you help me pick my new iPod. I would love to hear your opinion and what I should look for?

I originally was looking at getting the iPod photo 40 GB which is now discountinued and know there is a discount on it. Should I get this instead or should i just get the 30 GB.
 
I'd get the one that comes without earbuds, and batteries, and an iPod, and that you don't have to pay for, because I'd never buy an iPod.
 
You seem pretty much dead-set on an ipod as opposed to another brand player, may I ask why? And also your age? Thanks.
 
since i think creative came out with a mp3 player with a removable batter which i assume can be replaced, do you guys think that ipod will follow and make an ipod with a replaceable/ removeable battery?
 
Doubt it. Apple doesn't like to follow. Changing requires a lot of money, Apples doesn't like to do that either.
 
yeah, there is really no reason to go for the 1gb or even 512mb shuffle now, when the mini can be had for as little as $179.

I find the shuffles to be a joke anyway.
