Which internet brower i can load/ and work from a cd?

at work we have this password security where only the manager has online access so we need their password. we use internet explorer but im thinking if i get my own browser (mozilla firefox) maybe i can bypass it? and how can load it from the cd? any help ? :\ thanks!

and is there a way to bypass the proxy authorization?
