Man its like they are releasing a new mobo every week. I currently have a Asus P4C800 and a Gigabyte GA-8IPE1000Pro but the Asus can't seem to overclock for crap (i had it going at 250MHz the first week, but after it would stall on WinXP bootup so i'm going 240 now. The Gigabyte goes 250 no prob, but benchies and performance is extremly low for some reason (flashed bios couple times, installed WinXP couple times). I'm thinking of upgrading the Asus to something better. Whats good for O/Cing now other than the Asus. I've been having bad luck with Abit IC7G with 2 DOA. When is the MAX3 coming out?

Abit IC7-G overclocks like an ebony god, if you cant get it to overclock there must be something wrong with your other stuff. Make sure you have the latest BIOS and set AGP/PCI to fixed 66/33. many people have had probs with that one

There are some design issues with the board. If you look around, there are a lot of common issues with using SIMMs vs DIMMs and certain RAM chips (most notably CH-5) which inhibit overclocking. Will Max3 address these issues? Don't know.

I find RAM issues in almost all the currently mobos. From Abit to Epox to Soyo. I'm using Crucial, Corsair, kinda gave up on them, Geil for some reason is working great. Go figure.

ROFL, I've heard that. OCZ as well. It seems like some folks are having fewer memory issues with manufacturers other than Abit. Max3 will probably have a revised PCB and power scheme, might help.
