Which Intel motherboard for Conroe?

I was just surprised by how many Intel motherboards there are. Also, which would be a better chipset, the P965 or G965 or are they the virtually the same?

I am looking at the Intel motherboards. How are they at stock performance? Which is the best one of the G965 series? How are the integrated graphics on the G965?

I do not overclock so I don't need the more expensive motherboards, but I do need a good number of features.

There's a review of the new BadAxe2 up. Link is on front page. Its still prepoduction though.

I have found this:

http://www.legitreviews.com/article/395/1/

but it's not from anand, I have not seen it either.

Currently the only thing that prevents me from buying a C2D rig is the mobo, with all this RD600/NV590/975/965 mess, I don't find the one right for me. I hope ATI, NV or intel with this badaxe2 bring me the overclocking without mods that I need.

Its not a AnandTech review its a review from Legitreviews as Kevin linked. Sorry, I didnt specify that more clearly.

this is also my problem when i think i have one, i find more info on all the other numbers and it just to confusing. just need a basic rig to use a 6400 and no overclocking.

I would say you'll want to look at the ECS, AsRock, and Epox brands. The Gigabyte DS3 is also something to look into since its a cheaper overclocking Conroe mobo.
