Hey guys, Im lookin into intel mobos and they all look confusing on paper, Im goin to have an Intel 2.8ghz 800 mhz fsb, an ati 9700 pro, i dont care for onboard sound. Which one is for me (Around 150-200 bucks most plz ).

OK, a quick education about these mobos....

800MHz FSB mobos use either the 865 (Springdale) or 875 (Canterwood) chipsets.
The 875 is slightly more advanced and usually performs slightly better but also costs more.

From what I see on this forum, most people prefer the mobos made by Abit and Asus and I myself have seen reviews where these two brands often come out on top.

That Asus mobo that Jumpem mentioned costs about $180 at Newegg.

I, myself, like Abit mobos.
The IS7 (865 chipset) starts at about $90 on up to my favorite mobo, the IC7-MAX3 (875 chipset) for $214, which, in mine and many people's opinion is tops.

If your not going to overclock and you want the best stock performance, the Intel D875PBZ will be just fine

ty slogan good info, and no i wont be ocing it im affraid to my friend did with is asus pc8000 deluxe (something like that) put 250 watts and smelt melting metal it was his ram melting to his mobo(or so he told me ) o ya whats the C in ur 2.6 C stand for?

No. You may be able to get it to 4 with phase change cooling if it is a good chip.
As to your original question the Abit IS7 is a great mobo.

Didn't you figure this out already in this thread.
Who knows what board you want you haven't listed any needed features or what you will be doing with it.
