I am looking for a cheap but reliable board for file and printer sharing server use. I was thinking about Asus P5E WS, because it looks like it's built for stability, but it needs an entry level VGA card. The other way is Intel's G33 and Q35 offerings, which looks OK, but they are microATX and are saying Entertainment and Executive stuff on themselves, which I don't like.
What would you suggest? Are these small Intel boards recommened for server usage, or I should choose something bigger and more future proof? It would be used for 8 clients and the only add-on card is a 3ware RAID card.
