Is it harder to learn to play peeano or geetar?
I play both, and am not really that good at either, but comparitively, I am better at the piano than the guitar. IMHO, the piano is probably easier, but I believe that the quality of the instrument(s) you experience is a factor in your judgment of which is easier. My piano was a used one that was very cheap (my parents actually are the ones who own it and got it a long time ago), and as such it has a few keys that require "special treatment", and I try to avoid playing pieces that require those keys, or else transpose them so they do not require the particular keys. However, the few small annoyances of the piano are less than the PITF (that's
pain
in
the
fingers, an acronym I just invented) that my cheap "classical" guitar is, so the piano gets practiced more, and I prefer it.
Thus, my advice to you is that, once you pick an instrument, you should spend a decent amount of money to get a high quality one. I didn't do that, and I'm regretting it a lot.
My personal preference for an instrument that I'd love to get and learn how to play (but can't afford, and even if I could, I wouldn't be able to convince the parents to let me have some) is a set of drums.
