I was looking into the Asus CUSL2-C and now I see the Abit SA6 both look like good boards and not a big price difference only 3 dollars.I know alot of people blame Abit for being horrible but out of the 2 Abit boards I've used they have been stable. So let me get some SA6/CUSL2-C user opinions.

i have SA6R, the 815E before the SA6, and it's the BEST board, i got 2 of my friends to get it too and they love it... super stable, and if you don't get max clocking potential here, your not gonna get it anywhere else = )

I would be cautious with the iPanel. Amdmb.com gave it an unfavorable review citing engineering problems and now Asus refuses to provide AMDMB with any review equipment. In addition, Asus posted contrary and apparently fraudulent information under a psuedonym to one of the AMDMB forums. (They later retracted their post.)

Now Asus has removed all reference to the iPanel from their web site. They don't admit to any problems with the product though.

I don't work for Amdmb, nor have I used the iPanel, but business practices like these make me very wary.

Well I ended up ordering the Asus CUSL2-C board over the SA6 for my rig. Thanks guys for all the help now hopefully I dont have to see another accident like what happened to my Tbird.Awww well I'll just say it I had a Tbird but got fried once the FOP32 popped the socket tab on my MSI board and fried it.Built tons of A7V/Tbird setups with the FOP32 and never once had that problem oh well.

The sa6r is the i815e chipset...

Regardless go with the Asus CUSL2-C, just cause of price and efficiency, cause the damn SA6R is TOOO expensive

Yeah, I too thought Asus kicked but I have been struggling with this
CUSL2-C. I've got the no video at post problem and after searching various
boards, it seems a lot of people have been experiencing the same problem
in one form or another. A lot of the proposed solutions don't seem to correct
the glitch so there have been a lot of RMA's I guess. I'm thinking of replacing
this board with Abit or even a Soyo board.

i vote both! :p i am using sa6r and my friend are using cusl-c both are great board. I choose sa6r because it have raid on it. I am planning on using raid, and abit board have better feature for overclock ...it stable as well. Cusl2-c are good board..but no raid...that makes me choose abit.
