I do plan to unlock the additional cores and move away from the stock cooler. I also do plan to try and buy a new fan or one someone may be selling here on AT.

Looking for best cooler under $35 that has good CFM, and dBA 20-35.

I have my Phenom II X4 965 overclocked to 3.8 CPU / 2.7 CPU-NB, using a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus. Even with ambient temps ranging from 30-35C, it idles at 39-40C, operating temps are normally around 45-50C, reaching only 58C when being stress-tested.

Works great. Can't really hear the fan even at max RPM during stress tests.

I just got my 555BE running. I'm using a masscool ball bearing cooler. I think the fan is 80, 90, or 92 mm (forgot, but it's large), and it's not loud. It's really easy to install. It should be enough. But then I'm not oc'ing.

I don't know that the Scythe Samurai ZZ is good though, because it's an unmodified sleeve bearing. Those may not last that long.

Just get a Zalman or from another relaiable source..

Also make shure your Video memory CHIP has 8 chips and you need to cover those too. gl
