Last week I odered a retail P4 2.8c and an IS7 MB from Newegg. Combined with some OCZ low latencey ddr, it overclocks with 250mhz FSB with a small voltage increase and memory at 4:3. Running the stock HSF, I start to see temps of 63c when playing games. So I was thinking about ordering a SP-94 to help keep the temps down. Any other suggestions?
I would like to keep it as quiet as possible, so what are some of the lowest db fans, yet pump plenty of air to combine with the SP-94?
I have not upgraded for a long time, and I have not payed much attention to CPUs. So I am a bit behind with the times. The CPU I replaced was a P3 1000 shortly after they were released. So, how many years would that be?
