Yeah, this is inspired by the other thread about the 6 million dollar home.

Which house would you rather live in (note that I said "live in", not "own" or "be able to sell"), the 15 bathroom, 8 bedroom,34,051 sq ft of housage, 9 fireplaces, pool, pool house, sunken tennis courts in Cleveland, or a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 2000 square foot, 2 car garage place on 1/2 acre of property, anyywhere you live in the world. It could be on the beach in San Diego, or in Mahattan, or in Italy, or any other place you might want to live (even Cleveland).

So, giant Cleveland house, or average house in your favorite place in the world?

We'll assume the giant house comes with maid service/landscaping service to take care of it. The average house doesn't.

Eh, no clue how to decide

I like the idea of having a home away from large cities and crowds... :p

My GF is building a 9500+ sq ft house on 20 acres in bumfvck, IN...I'm not too sure about the idea yet.

A half-acre is a _joke_.

I'll take a three room shack on at least 10 acres, thanks.

I think I'll take the house in Cleveland. I've never been there, but i'd rather have the monster house.

favorite location.
I concur
Ditto. I've been to Cleveland.
The saddest part is that Cleveland is the best city in Ohio...... Dont get me started on Columbus....
Technically the place near where I grew up is a city (Rossford). The outlying bits that are Rossford address are great country homes (old farmhouses) and are still technically in a "city".
