Which Hitachi Travelstar to get for a T42??

I think I'm going to buy a T42 at educational pricing and upgrade the HD to a 7200RPM Hitachi. However, on New Egg's site, there are two listed here. Which is the right one for the T42? On says "Hitachi/IBM" while the other doesn't, but the one that doesn't has a 3 year warranty. Also, they seem to have the exact same specs. I have found that many sites carry both drives but barely list any info for the Hitachi/IBM branded one and list a lot of info for the Hitachi branded one. I was able to find both drives on Hitachi's website too. Which one should I get??

Nevermind, this thread leads me to believe that I should get the cheaper one since the more expensive one (the one designated with an "E") is meant for servers or something.

On a similar note, is there any problems with buying an OEM drive for a laptop? I've bought OEM plenty of times for desktops but never for a laptop. Anything I need to know before buying the OEM drive from New Egg?

The two drives he is looking at are not the same.

The cheaper drive is the one you want since the more expensive one is the E version, not for a regular notebook. The cheaper model does have a three year warranty, but you should check it once you get it to make sure. OEM is just the drive without the retail box.

BTW, it is an awesome drive.
