Which HD is better?

Hi, I'm looking for a new HD. Something like a 60GB, 80GB, or 100GB. I read the reviews and so far the 3 on my list are WD1000BB, Maxtor D740X 80GB, and Seagate Barracuda IV 80GB with WD and Seagate being #1 and #2. Which one of them would you suggest? I'm looking for the quietest drive with good performance, but it looked like Seagate finished last in most of the SR tests (and WD was near the top). So which one would you suggest? (Feel free to add to the list if you think you know a good drive).
Thanks.

I plan on picking up that very 60gb Maxtor this winter..... I also have the 60gb and 20gb models, and can vouch that they work great.

Good stuff, out of the 800,000 or whatever of those drives sold, you vouch they are perfect by your two! 🙂

<< suggest you look at the leaderboard at storagereview.com! 🙂 >>

bacillus, thanks for the link, but that's where I got the reviews from....SR-storagereview, that's what I meant in my post...Their leaderboard says that WD1000BB is the best, but I heard some people say that it's loud....on the other hand Seagate's Barracuda IV reviews say that it's really quiet. SO if anyone has WD1000BB can you say that they're loud?
