Ok, I'm gonna be getting an HD cooler once I get my new case, as I will be running a 7200RPM HD

Anyways, I don't know if I should get the "Ultimate Hard Drive Cooler", or this new one that I found at Directron:

So which one would you guys recommend?

From what I understand, the "Ultimate Hard Drive Cooler" cools better but is louder. Most likely, either one will do fine with a 7200rpm drive (they tend not to need THAT much cooling). Where you're really going to have a problem is with first gen 10k rpm drives (ie the original Seagate Cheetah).

I just ordered two of those CoolerMaster coolers for my Seagate Cheetah X15's. I want to cool them and quiet them down a bit.

If you really want to have a HD cooler for 7200 RPM which I believe is not really necessary. You might as well get those Cooler Master 4002 since it will also reduce your HD noise.

actually, my comp is on almost 24 hours a day. it barely ever gets a break. it's not always doing intense stuff (haha. i'm always online chatting and downloading), but it would be better if I did get one

If i just used it once in a while, then it wouldn't be

Thanks for the input :) I'm gonna get the coolermaster. hehe
