I would *SO* drive a Santa Fe if I were in the market for a small SUV...

However, I have my minivan, and it outclasses every small SUV in every possible aspect - speed, fuel efficiency, offroad capability (I can drive on lawns without getting stuck :p), cheapness, safety (Well, okay, I don't have airbags, but people will swerve away because it's so ugly), cargo, towing, and badass-appeal (Yes, the boxy minivan is FAR manlier than a curvy small SUV)

A Schwinn is better than both put together. I'd buy a lada before I bought either one of those.

Hyundai will eclipse one of the big 3 in the next 5 years; my girl's 12 year old Excel was tightly constructed. The tranny blew at 100K like a Dodge Caravan does after 60K. Hyundai is the new Man; cheap labor, money and good R&D (Lotus/GM). Kia's suck, but Hyundai sucked 16 years ago.
