Gamecube's a bit newer, but . . . . . .

Gamecube seems to look nicer to me, but it's probably more a function of the games than the consoles.

yeah . . . like some games are only XBOX or PS2

the reason i'm asking is whether or not i should send my gamecube to get fixed

it stopped reading discs, but there are so many good games

but with PS3 and XBOX2 and REVOLUTION out soon, i dunno if its worth it

repair is something like $50

it's about the price of a used one . . .

I wouldn't base your decision on graphics. rather, what type of game do you like to play?

XBox really excels at online games, while PS2 has the RPG market cornered, and GameCube rocks for multiplayer games that you want to play with your friends.

i dont care about Xbox, and usually whenever i play games with friends, it's at someone else's house . . .

GameCube has better graphics. If I remember right, it has an ATI ~9600 graphics card. The reason it is better, though, is because the PS2 was out way before the gamecube, when those graphics weren't available.

Remember, though, graphics aren't everything. Graphics are nothing, in fact, if you don't have games you like for it. IMHO, the ps2 has WAY better games than the gamecube.

GTA comes out on PS2 only because of a Sony contract, then a year later when the clause of the contract is met, it also comes out on Xbox. And looks a hell of a lot better. And the games were finished at the same time so it just wasn't 'more time to work on it'...

Between PS2 and Gamecube... it really depends on the game.

Gamecube has a better hardware so it mean it have BETTER GRAPHICS.The machine is superior.( processor,video card( ati card) )

BUT

1) you have 1/15 of the library of the ps2 with a cube..
2)The new gamecube model DOESNT EVEN support HDTV(they removed the hdtv cable plug behind)and games, like RE4 are not develop in HD.


Get a ps2 dude.If you have to make a choice for the better system.Consider also xbox if you dont have one.
