me and my friend are arguing which one looks better. id have to say return to castle wolfenstein looks nicer with the dynamic lighting and everything. i think its really eye-pleasing and the things look nicer, like the textures and lighting. of course, i also think mohaa has amazing graphics as well, but i like rtcw more.

what do you guys think? and which one do you think is more fun, in single player mode? thanks.

I only played them for about an hour with all the details set to high, but in that time I'd say RTCW looked better.

Turn the details down and they're about the same 🙂.

mostly because the levels look ten times better than in rtcw, and that is what you look at most of the time, the levels

RCTW was pretty cool, but MOHAA cranked up to at least 1024x768 is just incredible combined with great sound effects, just staring at the trees with the wind blowing in Souther France is seemingly very realistic.

imho: sound and level textures better in moh, while character models and character textures looked better on my machine in rtcw.

*digs up thread*

I'm only halfway through MOHAA, but I'd have to say at this point that RTCW looks better. However, I was sorely disappointed in its single-player game (love the multiplayer though) MOHAA looks more like the real world, but that also means it's far more bland than the vivid sort of comic-book looking fantasy world of RTCW. The sound on MOHAA is amazing though. I could listen to the sound of the sniper rifle for hours. I've thoroughly enjoyed the single-player game portion.

MOHAA's forest levels are just stunning.

RTCW's snow and fog levels were just beautiful.

But I'd give my hat off to RTCW. The texturing and atmosphere was more well used, ihmo. But when it comes to the story, MOHAA is much better.

I have to say MOHAA looks better too. I couldn't really tell when I was on my Radeon system at home, but when I went to my friend's apt with his 22" LCD and Ti4400, I have to say that it looks much better than RTCW.

I enjoyed both games immensely, especially MOHAA. Both also look great, didn't really notice one looking that much better than the other.
I was just marveling the other day though, as my son played through MOH again, how detailed the faces of the soldiers look, with their blinking eyes and varied expressions.
