Which Hard Drive to Get

Looking into the new line of Serial ATA hard drives. Not sure which one to get. Thinking about either a Seagate Baracuda or a Western Digital Raptor 10K RPM drive. Anyone have any opinions on either of these two. Leaning towards the Raptor, but the small size bugs me. Just thinking about setting this up as my boot drive. I have read that either of these are great drives.

Thanks,

The Raptor will certainly outperform the Baracuda, but from what I've been told, the Baracudas are the quietest drives on the market. If this is only going to be a boot drive and you have another for backups and storage, I say go for the Raptor.

Maxtor and WD use a PATA to SATA coversion chip whereas the Cuda is a native SATA drive...Use Raptors myself and no complaints...(edit) because of the 5yr warranty
