Which hard drive as boot?

I recently bought a new 120GB Maxtor w/8mb cache. I already had a 80GB Maxtor w/8mb cache. What I was wondering is should I now use the 120Gig I just purchased as the drive I boot from and run Winblows XP from. Will it increase my performance at all, or should I just keep booting from the 80Gig?

Both drives have the 8mb cache. Both drives are 7200 rpm. AFA boot drive goes, you'll notice no diff either way.

Now, depending on how many platters the 120GB has, you may get slighter better transfer rates on large files out of it...but nothing you'd notice on boot.

i'd leave it and save the trouble. maybe the 120 gig boots 12ns faster but who cares
