which hacked firmware should i get with my new Linksys WRT54 router?

I heard there were hacked firmwares you could get from sveasoft and other companies for the linksys router. Which one should i get (that's free?). There seems to be so many of them.

I heard some of them have bandwidth shaping that would help me immensly because i use bittorrent a lot, but i don't want my latency to slow to a crawl when i'm at full bandwidth.
