Hi, my spec is:

Xigmatek Asgard II
ASRock z77 extreme 4
I5-3570K
8gb Ram
620w Antec Neo 80+ Bronze
Hyper 212 Evo

I am in the UK and have £60 Amazon Voucher so I am planning on only buying from Amazon.

These are the GPU's that I can stretch my budget up to! Which one is the best choice for me?? I am a student so I would rather save as much as I can if I don't need to spend so much! (I have not included the £60 voucher reduction in the prices below)(core clock/boost clock)

Palit GTX 770 OC 2GB - £244.63 - 1085/1137 MHz
PNY GTX 770 Enthusiast 2GB - £249.90 - 1046/1085 MHz
ASUS GTX 770 DirectCU II 2GB - £255.00 - 1058/1110 MHz
Gainward GTX 770 PCX 2GB - £259.51 - 1046/1085 MHz
Palit GTX 770 Jetstream 2GB - £266.92 - 1150/1202 MHz
Zotac GTX 770 ZT-70302-10P 2GB - £268.81 - 1059/1098 MHz
EVGA GTX 770 SC 2GB - £269.69 - 1085/1137 MHz
Inno3d GTX 770 iChill 2GB - £269.99 - 1150/1202 MHz

Please let me know:
1) Best bang for buck
2) If spending extra on a gpu with a higher clock speed is worth the cost
3) If any of the above gpu's I should stay away from

Cheers!!

Do you have a roomy full size EATX case? If so, i'd go for an open air aftermarket card, if you have a small form factor you'll want reference. I'm assuming you have a full size chassis so with that being the case....

Out of that bunch? Now I don't know what UK warranties are like, but my favorites from that list are the Asus Direct CU II, and perhaps the Palit Jetstream. A lot of those brands don't have widespread availability in the states, but I can say the 770 DC II card is downright excellent - the reviews of that card specifically in the states have been overwhelmingly positive; it is both quiet and overclocks well. I wouldn't pay much attention to the factory overclocked speeds on the cards, they will all overclock to similar levels basically if you manually overclock. So I would just ignore the overall clockspeeds listed - don't buy based on a pre-factory overclocked boost speed IMO. They will all be about the same after all is said and done, given Kepler's dynamic boost. (with a manual OC on top of it)

I'd have to say that the PNY is likely reference (and only useful if you have a small chassis) and i'm not a fan of Gainward at all. The Zotac AMP! cards have gotten good reviews as have the Palit Jetstream cards, but I have no direct experience. I do have direct experience with quite a few Asus GPUs, though.

Do note that i'm completely unfamiliar with UK warranties and what not. My understanding is that the retailer takes care of everything for you, which is different than how things are in the US. But, I retain my recommendation for the Asus 770 DC II. For that cost, it's unbeatable - it's a great card.

Thanks for the reply! the xigmatek asgard case is a mid tower case and on measuring the length just now, i have around 29.5cm length gap (with the preinstalled metal hard drive brackets taking up the remainder of the space).. i have managed to fit hyper 212 evo in (just about) and that has a 15.9cm height

So in your opinion the best card is the asus CU II, and then the palit jetstream.... and if they do not fit my case pick the PNY??

You should be fine with the DC II or Palit Jetstream. I would just avoid those cards for super small form factors such as mITX and such, but that isn't what you're using.

Those will be okay in a mid tower as long as you have good air flow.

This is the case at the moment - i have detailed where the intake and exhaust fans are.. is this air flow ok then??
