I think these three are usually listed because of the lifetime warranty.

Just to be the bad news guys, i'm sorry, but BFG did not impress me.
I got two defective overheating GTX 280s before finally getting one that wasn't broken, & it took nearly two months for that to finally happen.
The whole situation was a completely avoidable nightmare, & it angered me enough that it's incredibly unlikely they'll ever see another cent from me.
On top of the RMA crap, they completely ignored my email on getting a rebate back due to the price drops that occuring that people were supposed to get; never even got a response.
I have a feeling I'll be hearing about that on these forums for years.
I don't know what any holdup was about (and a month per card is inexcusable), but the second card being new and untested is normal. I think most would agree that if they bought something brand new and it was DOA, they wouldn't want a used item back. As to the cards being defective and overheating, well, it affected all brands as all GTX 280 were supplied as complete cards by NVIDIA. So, overheating cards = NVIDIA's fault. Taking a long time for RMA = BFG's fault.
As for your email being ignored, I have no idea what's going on there.
