yes a 6670 is with gddr5 is faster than a ddr3 model but you dont even seem sure what vram you have now. and why on earth would you make such a modest upgrade? at this point a 6670 is a joke for modern gaming.

Your CPU is going to be a bottleneck in those games, most of the recent stuff is quite punishing on CPU as well as GPU.

You also need something around a 7850 class in performance for it to be a worthwhile upgrade. 270 or 270X?
