Which graphic card to buy ?

Hi, I am going to buy computer parts next week and I am confused which graphic card I should buy. My CPU will be 1.2 GHz Athlon and memory is 256MB. I will use my computer for HEAVY counter-strike action(OpenGL), HEAVY Diablo2 LoD(Direct3D) and light Quake3(OpenGL???) gaming.
 
Easy, buy the GeForce2 Ultra...nice and cheap now that the GeForce3 is out and since most DirectX 8.0 enabled games won't be released until 2002, you can wait and save up some $$ to buy the GeForce3 this Xmas (by that time, it'll probably only cost you $300 or so).
 
I have a GeForce 2 Pro and it works awesome. If you can afford get a GF 2 ultra. If you have a lot of money to waste get a GF3
 
Frame rates are capped at 28 fps in diablo 2 so you dont have to worry about that. any halfway decent card will work fine.

Get a Kyro II for now, then use the money you saved from that towards a geforce 3 in 2002 like masterhoss said. kyro II's outperform the GF2 ultra in some cases but for a fraction of the cost.

I usually get about 60-70 fps in town with my Geforce1. So I dont think it's capped at 28 fps. And I dont want to save money to buy another video card next year....... I want a good one now. 😀
