Which GPS unit is right for me?

So im shopping for a gps unit but I want one that I dont have to pay to update maps. Id like one with tts and voice recognition. Thoughts?

dont know about free updates, but I heard that navigon 2100 is good. has tts, and 3d views. and not too expensive.
also, I think you can pay once and get free lifetime traffic update.
