With Napster on the verge of shutting down I feel its time to start learnin to use similar products, like Gnutella.
So which client should I use, I haven't tried any yet but I read somewhere that BearShare is the most popular one? What's your take on this people?

Bearshare is a good Gnutella client. Certainly recommended.

Further you might want to take a look at WinMX, iMesh, Direct Connect and Audio-Galaxy.

Gnutella is lame...too slow.

Use napigator, you can get the addon so its built right into napster, with the same interface as you are used to. You just choose the server you want to use and login :). The musiccity servers are a lot faster than napster was also, and will return more than 100 results for a search...its great :)

I am tired of hearing people say
"what are you going to do when napster shuts down"

The internet is bigger than the US or RIAA.

Second vote for napigator.

CAMS:I'm not asking for WHAT you are going to do, just HOW. I was downloading MP3's years before Napster came out, and probably will for years after its down and I'm well aware of other methods. I'm merely curious about other peoples opinions and sollutions regarding this issue. I will be more precise next time.
And yes I also use Napigator each time I use Napster.

I think BearShare is a great client program but it eats your bandwidth like there's no tomorrow :|
If you want a great sharing program, use Direct Connect. For MP3s, go for Napigator
