Should Robert choose the hot, sensual, smart, yoga master, Italian accented and blooded, CERN physicist?

Artist's conception of how Vittoria may look like: http://www.panorama.it/media/020001025117.jpg

or...

Should he choose the pretty, attractive, a real princess/ancestor/decendent of one of the greatest royalties in western civilization's history, French accented, French police cryptologist?

For Sophie, just look @ pics of Audrey Tatau, as that's what the casting people of the upcoming movie release of DaVinci Code may look like: http://images.google.com/images?sourcei...,GGLD:en&q=Audrey%20Tautou&sa=N&tab=wi

Goddamn, I have a gut feeling he'll meet a new hot smart chick in the 3rd book. Three chicks he got to bone, alll important and prominent, and in the process uncover histories mysteries (well, fictional, but in his universe, "real mysteries"). Who doesn't want to be a Harvard Symbologist professor?

EDIT: err, added supposed pics, but really, it's up to the reader to visualize the character, and which one he liked better.

EDIT2: ARG. BOOK'S I'M TALKING ABOUT IS the two books that follow Robert Langdon. There's supposedly a 3rd one in the works that revolves around the Masons. First one (Angels and Demons) revolves around Illuminati, and the 2nd one (Da Vinci Code) revolves around Priori of Scion, Opus Dei, etc...

wtf are you referring to? Is this some show? When you leave out context info, assuming everyone knows this on the inside, you'll get ****** responses. I only responded because I want to see if there are pics of said women. Post some and we'll give better answers.

Its about Robert Langdon

The Protaganist of Dan Brown's latest books. Angels and Demons (Vittoria) or the Da Vinci Code (Sophia)

I would take Vittoria. Angels and Demons was also a much better book

ya i concur. There seems to be more of an instant chemistry btwn Vittoria and Langdon over Sophie. And Vittoria's funnier and more racy (last chapter in book)

Angels & Demons

The Da Vinci Code

***********************
The two books the OP is asking about. BTW, OP, the author has written other books, other than those two with Robert Langdon in them.

oh really? wow, hmm didn't know. I thought I read somewhere that he was "working on a 3rd book following Langdon.."

Did the others contain hot smart chicks as well? lol.

And ya, I thought Vittoria is a better choice. She seemed to be very very decisive. Langdon is indecisive at times, and hesitates...

What he said was that Dan Brown has written other books without Robert Langdon as the protagonist. But I think your also correct that he is writing a 3rd book with Robert in it.

Without having read any of the books or knowing any of the characters, I chose Vittoria. Most women seem to have a major princess complex around here and its pretty damn annoying. I'd imagine an actual princess would be an even larger pain in the ass.

I recommend Angels and Demons to almost everybody. Very good book. The Da Vinci Code is simply more of the same - in fact its almost like reading the same book and shows how very little depth Dan Brown has. Follows the EXACT same outline, which is rather pathetic really. But nevertheless, A&D is worth a read. Plus, the Da Vinci Code is simply hyped and popular because people are like sheep - much the same as the MySpace phenomenon going on right now where 90% of the population thinks its existed for 3 months. That was the Da Vinci Code before it, and the iPod before that. Thats more then enough to stay away from Da Vinci altogether, much the same as avoiding MySpace. Not to mention if people had actually read A&D, which was better, - they would have seen the lack of imagination Dan Brown shows since it was so much the same. And Da Vinci would have tanked as it should have

Maybe I'll give Angels and Demons a try then, but I thought The Da Vinci code was average at best when I read it a couple of years ago.

Definitely Sophie. I especially love Audrey Tatou...she is gorgeous and perfect for the role.

Both follow a general cookie-cutter storyline, and both has some twist at the end. A&D had a better twist, hehe. I wouldn't say both were bad books. I find Dan Brown actually pretty creative, very resourceful, and intriguing. But, it's just that the dialogue he has between the characters that kind of kills it.

Great story, cool, fast-paced action scenes/reads... But Dialogue is kind of cheesy.

One thing that I found in A&D that was absolutely incredulous was the heli/jump scene. wtf?

I find Dan Brown's work pretty interesting and entertaining.

He's a lot more resourceful than Orson Scott Card, but Card is a FAAAR better story-teller/character developer. Card's characters are funnier, more interesting, a craploads more realistic, whereas Dan Brown's characters are more for entertainment value, and look like they're from characters from 80's movies.

But both, by no means, are bad authors.
