on the reference designs there seems to be a section for personal cinema functionality which would basically turn these into all-in-wonder competitors after including the green break out box...

any word on which vendor will be selling these?

I doubt it will happen, ATI pretty much has a choke hold on the ALL-In-Wonder type cards. Also, form what I hear, personal cinema really sucks.

To put it mildly... :disgust:

Supposedly VisionTek is going to do a GF4 Personal Cinema model, but I'm not sure if it's going to be Ti4400 or Ti4600 based. That's all going to be in one package though, not an add-on for an existing card as you seem to be looking for.

VisionTek and nVidia are having enough trouble getting the existing features working as it is and removing the boatloads of compatibility issues that have popped up with their initial Personal Cinema models though... so I doubt their in too much of a hurry to add anymore models, or integrate any of the features the Personal Cinema is still lacking compared to ATi/Matrox's "All In One" cards.
