I've been out of the video card hunt for quite a while now so I don't know the difference between all the types of GeForce2/3s out there. Someone I know is looking at a PNY 64MB AGP NVIDIA GEFORCE3 TI 200 for $150. Is this good? Is there something better for the same price?

I'd appreciate a quick lesson in all the models of the GeForce3 out there. Why so many different brand names on the same card? GeForce4 is coming soon... but I can't imagine it even going below $300 right? Gracias.
 
Check the Gainward GF3-Ti200. It's gotten very good reviews and is about the price you quoted. I got mine from Newegg for $156 and so far its been terrific.
